Daniel Kosel is a Seattle born, Montana Raised touring poet, guitarist, singer, and musician. His rich baritone-bass vocals and creative guitar playing style bear the influence of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Aretha Franklin, AC/DC, ZZ Top, Chet Atkins, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Jimi Hendrix, and Steve Wariner. Daniel considers Washington and Montana “home” states and writes music shaped from life experiences with people, animals, ecosystems, and situations encountered living and touring throughout the western USA and Canada. The artist was born at the University of Washington Hospital in Seattle and was adopted as a newborn by a German-Austrian family and raised as the youngest of their ten children. When the artist was 11, the family relocated to Montana where he got his hearty love and capacity for creating and performing Country, Rock, and Blues music. The artist currently resides near the Gardiner MT entrance to Yellowstone National Park and is frequently found enjoying outdoor activities on the beautiful Yellowstone River and hiking in the Beartooth Mountains.
